About

Kierstin is a NCCAOM Certified and Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.) in the states of Wisconsin and Michigan. She has a Masters of Science in Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine from Northwestern Health Sciences University and a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Northern Michigan University. Her past experience working in the healthcare field has helped shape her unique approach to treating many different health conditions.  A few of her past experiences include working with:

• NMU United States Olympic Center - Athletic Trainer Intern

• NMU Division I Men’s hockey team - Athletic Trainer Intern

• Aqua Therapist/Physical Therapy Technician/CrossFit instructor in a clinical physical therapy setting

With her background in sports medicine she naturally specializes in injury rehabilitation and pain. Also, while continuing her education she gained experience in other specialties such as:

• Traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury care.

Kierstin is passionate about finding a natural and healthy way to care for your body. She believes that an integrative healthcare approach can be extremely beneficial by taking into consideration the care received by Physical Therapists, Chiropractors, Physicians, Massage Therapists, Mental Health Professionals, and many other modes of care.  She strives to  create an individualistic plan to support a long-term healthy lifestyle.

In her spare time Kierstin loves to stay active by cross country skiing, running, mountain biking, and going on family adventures with her two kids and husband.
